Cheer Up Chuesday

Reading Una La Rock’s post earlier about how blah Tuesday’s are, I decided that one, she is rightsies, and two, we (royal we) here at lightness of the unbearable towers are going to do something about it today and on future Tearful Tuesdays.

Cheer Up Chuesday is born.

How can you stay sad, when the internet tells you about:

• 12 year old girls who save their brothers and sisters from fires
• how you can still make art out of the photographs you don’t manage to capture.
• anarchists who assemble flat-pack furniture.
• how silver linings can be added to the dullest clouds
• fruit that magically turns everything you subsequently eat sweet as sugar
• a youtube for grownups
• a teacher who “feels grateful to his students for letting him into their lives”
• stereotypes that are just that; or how NASCAR fans can surprise you.
• the magic of America with Ira Glass. I can’t choose one. Load up your ipod.
