Thought Of the Day
Why is The Remains of the Day the only film in the world that makes me cry real tears? I can sit through both Bambi and It’s a Wonderful Life with composure intact but plonk me in front of Anthony Hopkins waving goodbye to Emma Thompson as the bus pulls off in the rain and I’m a blubbering mess.
Funny really since the premise of the thing is that they are destined to be apart forever because he finds it impossible to display any outward sign of emotion.
So yeah, as a side note Alanis Morissette? If you’re reading this, that’s what you could call “irony”. Not the other thing.
Unbearably Light 
I can’t watch Gorillas in the Mist. It’s the only thing that really gets me for some reason.
